Telehealth IOP/PHP/OP

Through the use of Telehealth IOP, Iris Wellness Group can provide its clients with exceptional care for substance use and co-occurring disorders, regardless of their proximity to our facility situated in Chattanooga. Our services are easily accessible via a multitude of devices, such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, desktop computers, or any other device equipped with an internet connection and camera. This enables our clients to engage in sessions from the comfort and seclusion of their own homes, without compromising on the quality of care received.

What is Telehealth IOP/PHP/OP?

Our Telehealth programs are overseen by licensed and trained clinical staff and offers identical evidence-based treatment components to our in-person services. These components include group therapy sessions designed to augment coping mechanisms, improve interpersonal communication, and foster a sense of connection with others during the early stages of recovery.

Additionally, individual therapy is available to address personalized concerns, such as trauma or relational difficulties. Family therapy is also offered, with the aim of strengthening the bond and communication between spouses and parents. Finally, clients have access to medical appointments with our psychiatrist and nurse practitioner, enabling the management of addictive and co-occurring mental health disorders through medication.

How does Telehealth Work?

Our Telehealth IOP offers 3-hour group sessions that take place three days per week, as well as a weekly 1-hour individual session. Our medical staff also provides regular check-ins with clients, tailored to their unique requirements. Typically, clients receive services in our Telehealth IOP for a duration of around 12 weeks, dependent on their individual needs.

During the group sessions, clients benefit from an educational component, as well as a “Check-in” component. This involves the skill of self-reflection, where clients can discuss and seek support for areas that may present challenges specific to their recovery. Through the group process, clients are encouraged to reflect on all aspects of their lives, share openly, and receive feedback from both clinicians and peers. This supportive environment allows clients to develop individual recovery goals while also strengthening the recovery of the group as a whole, drawing on each client’s unique strengths.

Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is designed as a step down from our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and is structured for individuals who are ready and able to operate at a lower level of care. Iris Wellness Group’s IOP allows individuals to maintain continued therapeutic support through our array of treatment services 3-5 days a week, depending on individualized needs.

As you or your loved one progresses in treatment, the commitment required to attend clinical services decreases. These IOP programs are suitable for individuals who have attended a residential treatment program or partial hospitalization program and are experiencing moderate symptoms. This allows and encourages clients to utilize the recovery skills gained and process any successes or challenges of everyday life.
